The TSE Model DP-20-4H is a versatile, hydraulically powered four drum puller designed for medium distribution stringing. It can also be used as a pilot line winder for heavier distribution. Featuring a continuous line pull capacity of 2,000 lbs. at full reel with 8,500 ft. of 7/16 in. rope on each drum, JDC has the solutions when it comes to all things tension stringing equipment, parts, & accessories.
OPERATOR FRIENDLY
The central operator’s console allows the operator to completely control the pulling operation with optimum visibilty of the pulling rope. Operator controls include linepull, linespeed, holding brake and engine controls

STANDARD
The TSE Model T100/72 Bullwheel tensioner is designed to install single conductor or Fiber Optic Groundwire on transmission lines. Elastomer lined bullwheels with 2.125” grooves can handle conductors up to 2156 ACSR and provide protection to delicate fiber cables. The bullwheels are tilted for groove alignment to eliminate any twisting being imposed on the cable. The lining segments are bolted on for easy replacement in case they are worn or damaged.
Each bullwheel has two 44” diameter bronze disc brakes and hydraulic actuated calipers to apply tension to the condcuctor. Precise control of the tension is achieved by the operator with an actuator incorporating an anti-surge accumulator. The operator can monitor the tension and make precise adjustments using the pressure guage and tension chart. By using hydraulic braking from a single control the tension is evenly distributed between the two bullwheels.
A 3-roller tail fairlead with urethane lined rollers ensures that the conductor is guided from the reel stand or carrier into the first groove of the bullwheel.
