Founded in 1973, Jack Doheny Supplies, was built by Jack himself into a successful business through selling and servicing the tools used to maintain our core infrastructure. The company grew through a strong selection of offerings in sewer cleaning, street sweeping, pipline inspection, and eventually utility solutions as well. As the business expanded in size and reach the name adjusted to reflect this new nationwide business, Jack Doheny Company.
JDC continues to provide utility, construction, pipeline, oil and gas solutions to municipalities and customers from coast to coast throughout the United States and Canada. Continuing the company’s rich traditions while providing cutting edge solutions and top quality equipment.
Our Story
At a young age, Jack Doheny got his start in the sewer cleaning industry. He, along with his father, traveled across the country to demonstrate power sewer cleaners. And this exposure, combined with industry knowledge, led to Jack starting his own company in 1973.
Over time, Jack Doheny Supplies grew to become the leading provider of sewer cleaning equipment in the industry. Jack always spoke of being a trusted partner for his customers, and valued investing in the industry and in his customers’ businesses.
Jack’s legacy continues to this day as JDC! Lead by Steve Shafer, our CEO. Kay has made it her mission to foster a community of safety, workplace development, education, and expertise. And would also become the president of NASSCO from 2016-2017. We have continued to set the standard for industry as the #1 provider of industrial cleaning, utility construction, gas and oil, and municipal stock. With fifteen coast-to-coast locations throughout the United States and Canada, JDC continues our story to serve as a trusted resource to our customers, by helping them solve challenges, and serving as an extension of their success.

The NASSCO, Jack Doheny Memorial Training Scholarship, is available to applicants who are evaluated on the qualities of ethics, leadership, past work experience in the sewer service industry.
NASSCO is the industry source for trenchless technology education, resources and advocacy. Formed in 1976 as a 501(c)(6) trade association, NASSCO continues to lead the charge in providing quality education for pipeline condition assessment and inspection.
