CONFINED SPACE ENTRY

This class provides enrollees with a full understanding permit preparation, duties, fall protection, and air monitoring equipment. Utilizing a combination of classroom instruction and our hands on Confined Space Simulator, individuals will walk away with practical knowledge they can use on the job. Participants will receive a certificate acknowledging the completion of the course.

DTI TRAINER & TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Ed Fitzgerald has over forty years of experience in Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, OSHA Compliance and Air Monitoring instructing at the University of Findlay, Bowling Green University (State Fire School), as well as the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation. Ed is EPA Approved for contact hours to both the Municipal Sewer and Industrial Manufacturing Industry.

Many know Ed from his extensive talks and informative sessions at annual trade shows, particularly WWETT. Ed has been in the sewer cleaning industry for nearly all of this 40+ years of service. In that time, he has helped develop some of the industry’s best and most practical collection system cleaning techniques and practices in the nation.

Ed has trained in all aspects of pipe cleaning and confined-space-entry, including FallProtection equipment, air monitoring instrumentation and mechanical / rope rescue techniques. His expertise, as a Safety equipment consultant and pipe cleaning extends to the evaluation, monitoring and maintenance of municipal and industrial wastewater fixed collection systems.
